My passion and goal in business and life is to help people and help my community.

Whether you are buying, selling, refinancing or building your “dream” home, you have a lot riding on your Loan Specialist. Since market conditions and mortgage programs change frequently you need to make sure you are working with a top professional who is able to give you quick and accurate financial advice.

My business background for over 31 years has been in the mortgage industry. This includes loan processing, underwriting, property inspections, foreclosure calls, conducting college finance classes in California and managing several Mortgage Branch offices in the States of Washington, California and Texas. My association with Mortgage Financial Group as a Loan Officer also includes overseeing our Builder/new home construction department. After working for several different mortgage companies over the years, it was important to me to work with a local lender who processes, underwrites and closes in their own office-this can be critical, especially when time is of the essence, that you do not have to wait for underwriting, processing or closing to come back from someplace out of the state or for that matter out of the country. Buying a home is one of the ”biggest” decisions you will make in your life, I put myself in the buyer’s shoes as to how I would want to be treated during the entire process-this is also why, if possible, I want to meet in person for the loan application and attend the loan closing.

I have been an Ambassador with the Mount Dora Chamber of Commerce for over 3 years and have worked diligently on the “Christmas Jar” project and  other events to help make our community a vibrant place to live and work. I am also a member of the Eustis, Tavares and East Lake Chambers.

While living in Tucson, Arizona I had the honor of being a 3-time Paul Harris recipient from Rotary International, implementing over 14 service projects. Some of these included establishing a literacy program for 3rd graders, collecting and distributing food baskets at Thanksgiving, adopting families at Christmas, distributing phone cards for military personnel overseas, writing and obtaining money for grants and C0-chairing the annual fundraiser golf tournament which raised over $60,000.00 the last year.

I have been happily married to my husband, Joe for 31 years and currently have 2 “furry” cat children.
